Jacqualine Lora Landers

Jacqualine Lora Landers went to her Lord and Savior on April 24, 2018 in Surprise, Arizona surrounded by her loving family. Born October 25, 1933 in Xenia, Illinois to Ruby Heitter Patterson and Edward E. Patterson, united in marriage on Valentine’s Day, 1953 to William M. Landers in the Cathedral of Saint Mary, Peoria, IL.

Jackie worked in many offices over her life, including Management Operations Inc. of Janesville and serving as the Town of Beloit Treasurer. Passions included serving numerous organizations: St. Jude Parish Council of Beloit, St. Jude Marion Guild, sponsoring RCIA candidates, fundraising for Brother Dutton and Beloit Catholic High School, establishing the Beloit Angel Museum, Beloit Historical Society, and the Rock County Board of Supervisors. Throughout her life Jackie enjoyed traveling to far reaching places with her husband, family, and friends.

Jackie is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bill, her children Michael (Kim) of Delavan, Terri (Marty) Lang of Madison, Kim (Tom) Murphy and Vicki (Stephen) Brown of Janesville, seven grandchildren she loved dearly, Kristin (David) King, Caryn, Jamie and Molly Lang, Genevieve Brown, Billy and Alex Landers, and many loved nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, sister Sandy Cool, and step-father, Al Rosenberger.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday May 1 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Beloit, with visitation preceding the service at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be at Milton Lawns Memorial Park Chapel, Janesville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church. Henke Clarson Funeral Home, Janesville is assisting the family.
